Manage manufacturing projects from concept through implementation **Position Overview:** The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production, high quality, and cost\-effectiveness. This team member will possess strong technical expertise, problem\-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement. **Responsibilities:** * **Process Development and Optimization:** · Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to achieve production goals, improve quality, and reduce costs. · Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and practices to enhance efficiency \& productivity. · Design and layout manufacturing workstations, equipment, and processes to ensure optimal workflow. * **Equipment and Tooling Management:** · Specify and procure manufacturing equipment, tools, and fixtures. · Oversee the installation, calibration, and maintenance of production equipment. · Work with suppliers to ensure equipment and tooling meet specifications and standards. * **Production Support:** · Provide technical support to the production team to resolve manufacturing issues. · Conduct root cause analysis of production problems and implement corrective actions. * **Continuous Improvement:** · Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste. · Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement. * **Project Management:** · Manage manufacturing projects from concept through implementation. · Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. * **Health and Safety:** · Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the manufacturing environment. · Implement safety improvements to reduce risks and prevent accidents. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. * Proven experience (5\+ years) in manufacturing, preferably a tier 1 Automotive Supplier. * Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as assembly, molding, and automation. * Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks). * Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies. * Excellent analytical, problem\-solving, and decision\-making skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software. * **Proficiency in Spanish and English languages (written and verbal)** Job Type: Full\-time Pay: $1\.00 \- $2\.00 per month Application Question(s): * Are you able to have a fluent conversation in English?
