Quality Auditor Reports to Quality Engineer / Quality Coordinator / Quality Manager Purpose Audit product and processes through sampling to confirm and ensure that defined standards are being met. The objective is to maintain compliance with the Quality Management System, as well as internal and external customer requirements. (For example, first piece release, checking fixture review, validation of poka-yokes, and tests as per the control plan). * Audit process controls to ensure compliance. * Confirm personnel competency in the skills matrix. * Report anomalies in devices or measuring equipment (e.g., gauges, final testers, checking fixtures, etc.). * Audit compliance with packaging standards: * Correct part number * Arrangement * LH vs RH (Left/Right – when applicable); Front vs Rear (when applicable) * Color * Correct quantity * Additional identifications according to temporary documents (e.g., certifications due to Quality Alerts, labels for engineering alerts, etc.) * Audit production labels, correct application and legibility. * Follow up to ensure containment actions due to quality issues are performed as indicated in instructions or quality alerts. * Validate that repairs or reprocessing are performed according to instructions and by authorized personnel. * Follow reaction plans for findings reported by Safe Launch / Dock Audit / Andon. * Perform a Dock Audit review on products according to instruction. * Train and explain the quality guidelines to operational staff, together with the Quality Engineer. * Stop the process or line (according to reaction plan) and escalate (per escalation plan). * Issue quality alerts when necessary. * Collect tally sheet forms and upload data into the system to obtain the FTQ of the assigned area. * Conduct LPA audits and follow-up on corrective actions. * Document position-related activities in the daily reporting checklist. * Follow directives according to the chain of command (organizational structure) and promptly inform involved teams. * Additional tasks assigned by Quality Engineer, Quality Coordinator, and Quality Manager to meet performance indicators. Job Requirements * High school diploma or some college education. * Minimum of 2 years of experience in product and process verification activities. * Knowledge of automotive production processes. * Ability to distinguish colors based on Munsell / Ishihara color aptitude test or any test indicating color blindness, as well as verification of adequate visual acuity 20/20\. * Understanding of customer-specific appearance inspection standards, physical, chemical, mechanical tests, or other required tests according to plant processes. * Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and teamwork skills. * Basic course in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and quality systems.
