Description and details of responsibilities
* Review and validation of customs entry forms (pedimentos)
* Coordination with customs brokers and freight forwarders
* Monitoring of imports and exports
* Tariff classification (HTS)
* Review of certificates of origin and customs documentation
* Internal international trade audits
* Monitoring of regulatory changes
Experience and requirements
* 2 to 5 years of experience in international trade, customs, or import/export
* Experience in maquiladora/manufacturing industry
* ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, QAD, etc.)
* Knowledge of the Customs Law and IMMEX regulations
* Interaction with international suppliers and customs brokers
