Job Summary: Supervise overall store operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service and adherence to operational processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Store operations leadership and supervision. 2. Promoting an optimal work environment and customer service. 3. Staff development and training. Supervise general operations across all store areas while serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, foster an optimal work environment, and deliver outstanding service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are in their designated locations within the store and that physical inventory matches system records by flawlessly executing weekly inventory management tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model, and ensure employees provide customer consultation and utilize all available tools—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic and testing equipment provided by AutoZone—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, thereby also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for improvement to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when identifying opportunities for improvement and training. * Supervise daily compliance by all employees with scheduled working hours and AutoZone’s established dress code; ensure respectful, courteous, and professional interactions among employees and with our customers, fully applying AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report each period to identify cost-control opportunities and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of savings across all controllable expenses within the team. * Assign and follow up on area responsibilities—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, and parking lot—as well as review daily cash count reports for the main register, perform cash sweeps, and conduct register closings for direct reports, strictly following AutoZone-provided procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees use AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or using in-store diagnostic stations, thereby helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of supervisor experience in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability to work various shifts AutoZone México is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
