**ALTEN Mexico is looking to integrate a Junior Manufacturing Engineer / Industrial Engineer** into its team to support initiatives for optimizing and improving production lines in assembly and manufacturing environments. This position combines process analysis, layout design support, and shop-floor participation to enhance efficiency, quality, and production flow.

**Job Objective**
Support the analysis, design, and implementation of improvements in production lines to optimize material flow, operational efficiency, and productive capacity, under the supervision of senior engineers.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Analytical and Technical Support**
* Support analysis of current layouts, cycle times, WIP, and production flow.
* Contribute to developing future-state line designs.
* Participate in line balancing studies and capacity analysis.
* Support creation of layout models and technical documentation.
* Collect and analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities.
**Shop-Floor Support**
* Support implementation of improvements on production lines.
* Participate in shop-floor activities to validate processes and changes.
* Collaborate on workstation and tooling improvements.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen).
* Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams.
**Requirements**
**Academic Qualifications**
* Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
**Experience**
* 0–2 years of experience (candidates with strong professional internships are welcome).
* Experience in manufacturing or production environments is desirable.
**Technical Skills**
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
* Proficiency in Excel.
* Basic knowledge of CREO or similar design tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.).
* Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, continuous improvement).
* Preferred: initial experience with ORACLE, Teamcenter, Inventor.
