**POSITION SUMMARY**
* The Assistant to the Plant Director plays a vital role in supporting the Director in the day\-to\-day operations of the manufacturing facility. This individual ensures seamless administrative support, helps coordinate plant activities, assists with reporting and data analysis, and contributes to maintaining operational efficiency.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Provide high\-level administrative support to the Plant Director.
* Assist in coordinating and tracking key manufacturing projects and initiatives.
* Schedule and manage meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes.
* Support data collection, reporting, and analysis of production metrics and KPIs.
* Prepare presentations, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
* Facilitate communication between departments and ensure timely follow\-up on action items.
* Help manage calendars, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
* Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
* Assist in organizing audits, inspections, and compliance\-related activities.
* Support lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and safety initiatives as directed.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
* Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
* 2–4 years of administrative or operational experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast\-paced environment.
Familiarity with manufacturing operations, safety standards, and production processes is a plus.

* The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams.
* Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.
* The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.
* Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits.
* Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.
