Job Summary: We are seeking a Machine Tool Operator / Lathe-Grinder Operator with experience in operating conventional and automatic lathes, using grinders, and interpreting mechanical drawings. Profile: Machine Tool Operator / Lathe–Grinder Operator **Responsibilities** * Operating **conventional and automatic lathes** for manufacturing and fitting parts. * Operating **surface or cylindrical grinders** to achieve finishing and dimensional accuracy of parts. * **Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings** to manufacture parts according to specifications. * Adjusting cutting tools, machining parameters, and processes. * Performing **dimensional inspection of parts** using measuring instruments. * Meeting tolerances, surface finishes, and technical specifications. * Correcting deviations during the machining process. * Maintaining order, cleanliness, and safety in the work area. **Requirements** * Proven experience in: * **Conventional lathe** * **Automatic lathe** * **Grinder** (mandatory) * **Reading and interpretation of mechanical drawings** (mandatory). * Proficiency with **measuring instruments**: * Vernier caliper * Micrometer * Height gauge (preferred) * Dial indicator * Knowledge of **tolerances and fits**. * Ability to work with **high precision**. * **Availability to work rotating shifts**. **Education (Preferred)** * Technical degree in **machinery and tools**, industrial mechanics, or related field. **Experience** * **2–5 years** in machining and grinding of mechanical parts.
