**Position Purpose/Summary** Responsible for the prevention and protection of plant facilities and personnel working on-site. Ensuring effective management of the access control system, as well as supervising and reporting any suspicious activities through communication and follow-up with the internal security team. Additionally, implementing improvements to physical security-related procedures to ensure personnel safety and integrity. **Position Responsibilities** * Manage and supervise security guards and shift supervisors. * Supervise guard appearance to ensure a professional image, as well as their attendance, punctuality, and discipline. * Provide training to personnel to ensure correct implementation and performance by operations staff (Security Guards). * Ensure that operations staff—including shift supervisors and security guards—properly adhere to security policies and procedures. * Identify vulnerabilities and develop best practices, policies, and procedures to minimize risk. * Assist with plant emergencies at any required time. * Ensure vehicle, trailer, container, and facility inspections are conducted correctly and in compliance with C-TPAT / AEO regulations. * Conduct company plant assessments to ensure C-TPAT and AEO compliance. * Maintain up-to-date physical files (hard-copy folders) for both C-TPAT and AEO programs. * Investigate incidents involving illicit activities at Avent facilities. * Conduct compliance assessments at supply chain partner facilities to ensure C-TPAT and AEO compliance. * Review and report risk assessments to identify threats to information security, systems, and IT assets across the Company, particularly regarding product protection. * Identify product security risks within the Company’s supply chains and recommend appropriate product security protocols to mitigate product-related risks. * Conduct preliminary investigations for the Company; investigative workload is assigned by management. * Collaborate with business leaders in Mexico to integrate security considerations into strategic planning and business decision-making processes. * Maintain contact with Global Security Management and keep them informed of any anomalies. * Ensure all Avent / Avanos employees comply with security policies and procedures. * Develop, implement, and update operational and security procedures, communicating and verifying security requirements. **Required Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree. Advanced English proficiency. Five years of physical security experience. Valid driver’s license. Proficiency in monitoring systems, investigative tools, and risk analysis. Knowledge of security-related programs and certifications, such as C-TPAT / AEO.
