Job Description and Responsibilities
* The Senior Planner supervises and assists in organizing the company's sales to ensure that order fulfillment dates and production schedules are realistic.
* The company's inventories and raw materials are managed by the Senior Planner, who works closely with the PM, Purchasing, and Customer departments.
* Effective inventory management enables the Senior Planner to track supplies and prevent shortages that could cause production delays.
* In situations where delays occur, the Senior Planner collaborates with all company departments to identify solutions and recover lost time.
* Serves as a communication bridge within the company, including connecting management and production staff through meetings, reports, presentations, and the exchange of ideas among different company departments as well as with customers.
* Is responsible for all aspects of scheduling, such as forecasting demand from assigned customers; the Senior Planner plans production and inventory, as well as short- and medium-term material planning.
Experience and Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Administration, or related field; a Master's degree is desirable
* 5 years of experience in Planning
* Experience communicating with customers
* Must possess leadership skills
* Experience in Planning within a contract manufacturing company (desirable)
* Fully bilingual
