Production Supervisor

Description

Position Summary: Team leader responsible for decision-making, production supervision, personnel management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement in manufacturing environments. Key Highlights: 1. Leadership and direction for continuous improvement of quality and efficiency. 2. Responsible for production supervision and inventory control. 3. Experience in supervision involving high volumes and more than 200 employees. Description and details of responsibilities * Make decisions regarding work assignments, task priorities, and overtime requirements. * Ensure implementation, process execution, and monitoring of molding presses and assemblies. * Responsible for resolving shift personnel issues. * Communicate scheduled production targets. * Responsible for training and counseling all employees whose performance is unacceptable regarding safety, quality, and productivity. * Responsible for applying disciplinary actions for inappropriate behavior and/or to resolve performance issues per the RIT. * Ensure compliance with quality standards during their shift. * Ensure efficient production and product quality exceeding established standards. * Provide leadership and direction to team members to continuously improve quality, reduce waste, and increase performance. * Responsible for defining the operator's job description. * Responsible for supervising production floor inventory control and material handling. * Participate as a leader or member in cost-reduction projects.
