Job Description and Responsibilities 1\. Supervises and validates the development of structural designs to ensure functional and manufacturing compliance, reviewing drawings and die lines as well as authorizing final versions. 2\. Leads and organizes the design team by assigning projects based on complexity to achieve a balanced workload and meet deadlines. 3\. Coordinates with sales, prepress, production, and quality departments to ensure correct implementation of the design and avoid rework, material waste, and production issues. 4\. Optimizes costs and materials by proposing structural improvements through analysis of weights and structures without compromising performance, thereby contributing to project profitability and commercial competitiveness. 5\. Provides technical support to Sales & Customers by participating in meetings and/or site visits to ensure that sold solutions are viable and meet expectations. 6\. Manages design changes and maintains up\-to\-date documentation to ensure traceability, version control, and effective internal communication. 7\. Trains and technically develops the design team to ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements, avoiding rejections and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Experience and Requirements * 5–8 years of experience in structural design. * Proven experience supervising or coordinating teams of engineers or designers. * Experience participating in structural design projects (folding carton, corrugated cardboard). * Experience reviewing and validating structural calculations, drawings, and technical specifications. * Coordination with multidisciplinary teams including production, quality, customer service, sales, etc. * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Graphic Design. * Advanced knowledge of structural design and analysis software such as ArtiosCard, Impact CAD, Solidworks, Kasemake, etc. * Leadership and team management skills. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities. * Effective communication skills. * English proficiency is desirable.
