Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive Safety and Hygiene Supervisor with strong communication skills to ensure regulatory compliance and training in mining and construction environments. Key skills in conflict resolution, proactivity, and communication Friso Stone, a leading company providing engineering, mining, and construction services, invites you to join its team as: Safety and Hygiene Supervisor **Requirements:** Education: Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field Age: 25 to 45 years **Skills:** Conflict resolution Proactive Communication **Experience:** Minimum 1 year in open-pit mine safety, supervising field personnel on safety matters and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), verifying compliance with safety and hygiene regulations, procedures, and standards. Knowledge of confined space work, work at heights, STPS regulatory requirements, and emergency response plans (first aid, fire suppression, evacuation). **Responsibilities:** · Daily inspection of vehicles and/or machinery (checklist). · Inspection of personal protective equipment (uniforms, safety shoes, goggles, gloves). · Completion of work permit forms for activities within the CEMEX plant. · Compliance with Integrated Management System (IMS) Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Specific Task Descriptions. · Understanding and adherence to the Integrated Management System Policy, as well as achievement of CEMEX objectives (Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health). · Coordination of training sessions, as required. · Ensuring training of personnel under supervision, facilitating access to information and training materials, and documenting such training. Salary: $15,000.00 - $16,000.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
