




Job Summary: Laboratory or workshop assistant supporting material preparation, area maintenance, inventory control, and incident management. Key Highlights: 1. Key support in the development of academic programs and practical training. 2. Active collaboration in the management of laboratory resources and materials. 3. Participation in quotation processes for materials and equipment. GENERAL FUNCTION: Assists in activities related to laboratory or workshop practices, in accordance with CEUX criteria and policies and those of the institutions regulating such activities, monitoring the proper implementation of each academic practice program as well as each entity involved in these practices. SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS: 1\. Prepare the material to be used during the practice. 2\. Keep the work area clean. 3\. Properly safeguard supplies for each practice. 4\. Collaborate in managing services for collection of biological, infectious, and fumigation-related waste, where applicable, in each laboratory or workshop. 5\. Calculate materials and reagents required for each academic year. 6\. Control the inventory of equipment and materials in each laboratory or workshop. 7\. Report incidents or malfunctions in laboratories and workshops to the Laboratory Head. 8\. Participate with the Laboratory and Workshop Head in quotations for materials and equipment. ***Requirements:*** Bachelor’s degree in Administration or related field. ***Experience:*** *Minimum of 6 months in a similar position.* Experience in document filing, writing, personal customer service, and telephone customer service.
