Apply now for the position of: LNG Plant Shutdown Scheduler **OBJECTIVE:** The LNG Plant Shutdown Scheduler is responsible for planning and scheduling plant shutdowns by developing the master schedule, aiming to plan a shutdown that maximizes execution efficiency, ensures safe working conditions, and guarantees facility reliability. The Scheduler will be responsible for designing shutdown programs from inception using specialized scheduling tools (Primavera P6 / SP6 and Microsoft Project), integrating scope defined by respective departments, ensuring all activities are correctly interrelated and sequenced. The LNG Plant Shutdown Scheduler must consider operational time requirements for equipment isolation and commissioning, as well as define the operational window for activity execution. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** Shutdown Planning and Control: * Develop and manage detailed plant shutdown schedules in Primavera P6/SP6 or Microsoft Project. * Integrate preventive and corrective maintenance activities into the schedule according to the approved scope, coordinated with respective departments. * Define, analyze, and validate the critical path, float durations, and key shutdown sequences. * Verify alignment of the schedule with operational windows, shutdown philosophy, and approved execution strategies. * Coordinate with all involved departments to validate durations, activity sequences, and resource availability. * Facilitate schedule review sessions with involved departments and keep management informed of periodic schedule updates. Compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental Regulations: * Ensure the plant shutdown schedule incorporates Health, Safety, and Environmental considerations per ECA LNG terminal procedures and applicable regulations. * Coordinate with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Protection departments on contingency plans for potential use. * Verify that activities are scheduled considering prior completion of risk assessments, work permit management, and required release timelines. Budget Control: * Ensure the schedule aligns with the approved budget. * Support validation of resources—including labor, machinery, and spare parts—as reflected in the schedule. * Identify schedule risks that may cause financial impacts to the approved budget. Execution and Activity Supervision: * Supervise execution of plant shutdown work in accordance with the schedule. * Perform real-time schedule updates during execution and report progress to all relevant departments and management. * Resolve and/or report any anomalies jeopardizing adherence to the plant shutdown schedule. Analysis and Continuous Improvement: * Document lessons learned from each plant shutdown event. * Manage analysis of schedule deviations and propose improvements for future events. * Track and ensure implementation of actions arising from these analyses. Documentation and Reporting: * Administer and safeguard each plant shutdown schedule, including all updates leading to its final version. * Prepare the final plant shutdown report.
