




Job Summary: Engineering professional responsible for estimating naval projects, preparing quotations, planning and monitoring progress, and managing materials and change orders. Key Highlights: 1. Preparation of estimates and quotations for naval projects. 2. Monitoring of physical and economic progress of projects. 3. Management of materials and change orders in projects. Description and details of responsibilities * Prepares project estimates based on client specifications to establish the initial project budget. * Prepares material quotations based on physical surveys to expand the project scope. * Develops the work schedule based on the project’s initial itemized list to meet commitments established with the client. * Monitors physical and economic progress by comparing estimated vs. actual performance to track implementation and maintain control. * Requests project materials based on specified requirements to ensure timely material availability. * Quantifies standard project materials based on physical surveys and/or site inspections for quotation purposes. * Prepares project change orders based on material and/or service quantification to develop quotations for project expansion. Experience and Requirements * Naval Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related degree. * 4 years of experience (mandatory). * Cost estimation for naval repair and fabrication. * Project management. * Planning. * Technical naval English (mandatory). * Advanced Office skills. * Project administration. * Position located in Ensenada, Baja California.
