




Job Summary: The Master Planner is responsible for establishing planning parameters in the ERP system, analyzing SIOP demand, and ensuring optimal production plans to meet customer requirements and financial goals. Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Master Planner. **What you’ll do:** ------------------- The Master Planner is responsible for establishing correct planning parameters in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, analyzing demand from the SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Plan) that feeds the MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) module, and ensuring that production plans developed by planners are optimal—considering key business aspects such as: material availability and future arrivals, production capacity, equipment availability, and cycle times—so as to satisfy our customers and achieve the business’s established financial goals. In this role, the following activities will be performed: * Daily communication with the Procurement Department to obtain delivery dates for raw materials and components. * Ongoing communication with Customer Service Departments to confirm shipment dates, order status, shipping plans, or any other issues related to customer orders. * Measuring adherence to production plans and communicating results to teams responsible for executing those plans. * Standardizing and monitoring the development of production plans by planners to ensure released plans align with divisional targets (Past Due, Backlog, and Forecast). * Responding to and confirming shipment dates and status in the C360 customer service tool. * Analyzing the Long Term Plan (LTP) and establishing production strategies to fulfill LTP requirements without exceeding or falling short of this metric. * Developing standard work for assigned planners. * Cleaning up STPOs (Inter-plant Purchase Orders) at month-end. * Running the LTP (Long Term Plan) MRP in SAP at the end of each month. * Motivating and providing feedback to employees in accordance with continuous improvement guidelines, supporting the organization with optimal resource and technology management. * Participating in and making decisions regarding hiring, salaries, performance evaluations, and other personnel-related activities for planning staff. * Daily communication with Production Managers to align planning strategy and ensure optimal plan execution. * Compliance with procedures, work instructions, and labor regulations of various management systems (ISO9001, ISO14001, IATF16949, CTPAT, OEA, and any others registered by the company), as stipulated in established manuals, and ensuring compliance with legal records, quality, environmental, health and safety, OEA, CTPAT, etc., applicable to the company. **Qualifications:** ------------------- **Required Competencies:** * Bachelor's degree or higher. * 5 years of experience in production planning within the maquiladora sector. * Knowledge and experience with ERP systems: preferably SAP. * Bilingual — Spanish / English. * Experience in personnel and project management. **Preferred Competencies:** * APICS certification and Green Belt are a plus. * Knowledge of Lean / Continuous Improvement. **Position Competencies:** * Global perspective * Teamwork * Accountability (ELM) * Decision-making * Communication * Customer focus **Core Competencies:** * Excellent organizational skills in managing information for accurate distribution across various management levels. * Rapid resolution of day-to-day problems while maintaining a high sense of urgency. * Continuous follow-up to maintain high credibility regarding commitments made. * Self-directed.
