**Objective** * Manage quality control (QC) resources and processes including incoming inspection, metrology, in-process inspection, final product inspection, and audits of support processes including material kitting, maintenance processes, and responsibility for the training area within the plant * Ensure all products meet or exceed customer requirements or otherwise strictly adhere to IPC\-A\-610 and IPC\-620 standards or corporate standards **Functions and responsibilities** * Responsible for ensuring compliance with all production and support processes according to the guidelines of the management system (QMS) in question. * Responsible for the incoming inspection process and ensuring the quality of materials from suppliers within the supply chain based on customer specifications and determined by the SAP system * Responsible for the metrology area and calibration processes of all instruments declared in the operation's QMS, ensuring their timely and proper calibration * Responsible for assigning and managing resources for the in-process inspection within production operations * Responsible for assigning and managing resources for the final product inspection within production operations * Responsible for collecting and analyzing statistical data from production processes to determine corrective actions to maintain an FPY\>99% level * Responsible for managing and validating rework and repair processes following established guidelines, procedures, and systems * Responsible for training all operational associates regarding processes and products * Responsible for the proper validation and release of the first piece in each production process, as well as validation and release of support processes including NPI, material kitting, and maintenance of production equipment * Ensure product traceability through company-established processes and systems * Responsible for the discipline and development of QC inspector teams across different operational shifts * Provide support and assistance to other functions in resolving internal/external operational issues using advanced problem analysis tools * Other duties assigned by Plant Management **Knowledge and skills** * Knowledge of IPC standards related to acceptability of components, PCBs, electronic rework, harness assembly, conformal coating application, etc\- * Knowledge / certification in IPC\-A\-610, IPC 620 and IPC 7711/7721 * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Skill in using metrology equipment including but not limited to microscopes, measuring devices such as calipers, scales, thickness gauges, CMM, etc.) * Basic knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP * Understanding and experience leading internal and external audits of Quality Management Systems ISO 9001 as a minimum, preferably also ISO 14001 and ISO13485 * Bachelor’s degree or engineering in fields related to quality management (master’s degree a plus) * Bilingual English/Spanish * Valid visa
