Summary: The Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator develops and implements HSE Management Systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a safety culture. Highlights: 1. Lead safety culture and risk reduction initiatives GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing the Health, Safety and Environment Management System at BRP, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations based on current Mexican legislation, as well as promoting a safety culture within the organization. **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:** * Professional Engineering degree in the Industrial, Chemical, or Environmental field. * 7\+ years of experience in occupational health, safety, and environmental management. * Experience implementing and managing ISO 9001, 45001, and ISO 14001\. * Bilingual in English and Spanish. * Experience in implementing new projects. * DC5 (desirable). * Ergonomics certification. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CERTIFICATIONS * Expert in Mexican legislation regarding Environmental Protection, Health, and Industrial Safety * Verifiable knowledge and experience in coordinating health, safety, and environmental audits * Methodical management of preventive risk analysis programs * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Drive, Sites, Dashboards, etc.) * Experience implementing ergonomics programs * Experience in processing government applications with various agencies (SEMARNAT, PC, STPS, SDUE, JMAS, CONAGUA, PROFEPA, etc.) * Effective communication skills at all levels * Strategic vision * Analytical capacity for identifying trends * Strong leadership skills in multidisciplinary teams, focused on objectives, values, integration, and high performance * Influence on organizational culture * Strong experience in change management * Proactivity and prevention mindset MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Ensures legal compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations before the various government agencies. * Develops, implements, and monitors health, safety, and environmental programs and procedures. * Prepares plans and strategies for reducing workplace risks. * Prepares monthly and quarterly reports for the BRP Corporate Health, Safety, and Environment (EHS) office. * Manages occupational hazards and environmental aspects from identification and assessment to mitigation in conjunction with the relevant departments. * Administers and ensures compliance with industrial and environmental safety programs. * Manages the EHS department budget, ensuring its accuracy. * Develops, ensures, and maintains a monitoring program to ensure that external contractors performing work within the facilities comply with applicable safety measures. * Ensures compliance with the Safety and Hygiene Committee and the annual inspection program. * Coordinates the ergonomics committee and its implementation on\-site, in conjunction with the medical department. * Coordinates and ensures the effectiveness of risk mitigation programs, management systems, and safety culture initiatives. * Participates in the coordination of emergency response programs, employee response, and systems. * Coordinate the system of investigation of accidents. * Coordinate the system of investigation of accidents. * Coordinate the effectiveness of the implementation of corrective actions resulting from safety events. * Participate in pilot runs for the safe implementation of changes in production systems * Develop and ensure the implementation of procedures for the management of health and safety at work ACKNOWLEDGING THE POWER OF DIVERSITY BRP is dedicated to nurturing a culture that invites, connects, and propels the ambitions of people of all backgrounds, profiles, beliefs, and experiences.
