QUALITY ENGINEER III 1.\- To whom does this position report: Quality Assurance Manager 2.\- Which positions report directly to this role: Quality Inspectors and Calibration Technicians. 3.\- Main Activities and Responsibilities: Lead and supervise daily activities of assigned personnel as well as the Quality system, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and regulations. Design, execute, and update the Quality control plan according to manufacturing process requirements and changes; including measurement system analysis and equipment evaluation, repeatability and reproducibility (GRR). Initiate and implement containment and/or corrective actions in response to internal and external non-conforming events using A3 and/or 8D formats, along with statistical tools. Analyze and communicate internal and external quality metrics, providing information to continuous improvement teams as required. Evaluate, document, and update performance of supervised personnel, identifying and recommending their training needs. Apply and monitor activities related to the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS). Perform any other duties as assigned by the company. 4.\- Required education or years of experience: Industrial Engineer, 5 years of experience in a similar role. 5.\- Key knowledge required for the position: Interpretation of Engineering Specifications. Application and use of statistical techniques (Green\-Belt). Metrology and its application. Continuous improvement techniques, lean manufacturing. Proficiency in computer software (spreadsheets, databases, presentations, word processors). ISO 9001\. 6.\- Skills and personal characteristics required for the position: Teamwork. Customer focus.
