Responsibilities: The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.* Develop and review low\- and medium\-voltage electrical designs for building and industrial/commercial facility projects (drawings, one\-line diagrams, layouts, conduit routing, etc.). * Perform electrical calculations (load calculations, short\-circuit, protection coordination, voltage drop, etc.) using specialized tools and spreadsheets. * Prepare and update technical specifications, load lists, and equipment and material lists (BOM). * Model and/or review models in AutoCAD and/or Revit (BIM) to ensure proper coordination with other disciplines (mechanical, architectural, civil, etc.). * Address comments from internal quality reviews (QA/QC) and from clients, making the necessary design adjustments. * Participate in coordination meetings with local and international multidisciplinary teams, mainly for U.S. projects. * Provide technical support during bidding and construction phases: responding to RFIs, reviewing vendor and contractor submittals, and supporting clash resolution. * Be responsible for the technical development of the electrical discipline on assigned projects, from conceptual phases through detailed design. * Keep project documentation up to date in SSOE internal platforms and project management tools. * Coordinate closely with project leaders, project managers, and discipline leads to ensure compliance with schedule and scope. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of standards, templates, and best practices for the electrical discipline in the business unit.
