Civil Construction Resident Engineer

**Objective:** Manage, coordinate and supervise the execution contractor for civil infrastructure project construction processes. Verify that all processes are carried out according to the established logistics and execution plan, aligned with safety and hygiene plans, quality plans and signage plans. Responsible for ensuring compliance with execution schedules of assigned projects, as well as analyzing and mitigating risks, guaranteeing execution timelines and/or detecting deviations, proposing appropriate mitigation plans consistent with project cost and quality, in accordance with established specifications and standards to fulfill contractual obligations. **Responsibilities:** 1\. Supervise, review and coordinate all construction processes assigned under responsibility. 2\. Supervise, review and coordinate that planned activities in the work schedule are executed as agreed in contracts, seeking engineering value in processes, adhering to current standards, statutes and specifications. 3\. Jointly with subcontracted supervision, monitor that quality compliance in executed works is properly documented according to conditions established in project contracts, ensuring the quality dossier for each constructed element is completed. 4\. Ensure subcontractors comply with established policies and procedures, detect any deviations and propose mitigation plans. 5\. Supervise and coordinate together with the cost and subcontract coordinator the integration of the bill of quantities, including unit price breakdowns, schedule and scope of work for rehabilitation and/or construction projects. 6\. Prepare the work initiation file supported by the subcontracted supervision company, integrating the approved construction project (Work Breakdown Structure, construction plan, assembly sequences, etc.), approved baseline, licenses, permits, safety plan, pre\-operational schedule, final construction schedule, procurement plan (including pre\-commissioning and commissioning), subcontract risk matrix, site organizational chart, budget, field expenses and cash flow. Compile the quality dossier for all works developed. 1\. Coordinate jointly with the subcontracted supervision team site visits, calling all assigned contractors to align operational rules, subcontracting process, tolerances, quality criteria and safety plan. 2\. Supervise, evaluate and validate payment methods with subcontractors, respecting the sequence defined in the construction schedule to facilitate estimation control and cash flow management. 3\. Monitor supply and subcontract schedules to meet established timelines in the construction program. 4\. Review physical vs financial progress to ensure no overestimations occur in subcontracts, detect any potential deviations and report findings to all stakeholders. 5\. Coordinate the preparation of progress estimates. 6\. Perform administrative closure of the project, including collection of guarantees from contractors and suppliers. 7\. Supervise required quality control tests for execution of various on\-site and off\-site project activities, in accordance with the Quality Management Plan. 8\. Review information and documentation required for submission to supervision regarding reports linked to Indicator compliance evaluations. 9\. Unit Price Analysis as required by the project.
