




Position Summary: Coordinate payroll audit, record maintenance, and reporting functions for payroll, benefits, and taxes, linking HR, payroll, and finance departments. Key Highlights: 1. Knowledge of tax area related to payroll calculation **POSITION SUMMARY** Coordinate audit, record maintenance, and reporting functions to ensure proper application, calculation, and reporting of payroll, benefits, and tax data. Maintain alignment among Human Resources, Payroll, and Finance departments to ensure payroll function is coordinated across the organization. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Responsible for reviewing attendance records for all payroll employees. * Review of authorized overtime hours. * Knowledge of tax area as it relates to payroll calculation. * Knowledge of accounting, journal entry preparation, accruals, and account reconciliations. * Ensure inclusion of all required deductions and review of taxes, deductions, and loans calculated in payroll (ISR, IMSS, FONACOT, INFONAVIT, etc.). * Completion of check request forms and/or bank transfer requests for payroll-related payments. * Bimonthly review of integrated salaries. * Maintain electronic archives of all payroll-related information, including payslips, payroll registers, etc. * Control of unpaid settlement documents; generate reports and forward to Accounts Payable for check cancellation. * Preparation of overtime charts. * Responsible for reviewing FONACOT deductions to ensure correct payment. * Preparation of payroll reconciliations. * Submit weekly payroll estimates. * Process annual PTU, Christmas bonus (Aguinaldo), and Savings Fund (Fondo de Ahorro) payrolls. * Reconciliation of the Savings Fund (Fondo de Ahorro). * Weekly submission of contribution files. * Stamp payroll and send receipts via TRESS. * Upload required files to the Food Voucher (Vales de Despensa) portal to ensure timely and accurate voucher payments. **QUALIFICATIONS** * Five years of experience preparing payroll in the maquiladora sector. * Expertise in using the TRESS system (mandatory). * Proficiency with computer applications (Excel, Word). * Ability to maintain control over information required to generate payroll. * Responsible and organized individual with a strong sense of urgency. **EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS** Professional degree in Accounting
