Job Summary: Responsible for commercial blind manufacturing, layout improvements, safety, ergonomics, product quality, development of instructions, work routes, and equipment. Key Highlights: 1. Participation in cost-saving and Kaizen projects Description: **JOB OBJECTIVE** Responsible for all aspects of commercial blind manufacturing for ATO product lines, including layout improvements, safety and ergonomics enhancements, product quality improvements, process instruction development, work routing, and equipment/machinery/workstation development for existing or new processes. **PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS** **Function** **Description (What, How, Why, For What, Means, Results)** **%** A. New Products Coordinate product transfer to other internal departments during product development through commercialization. Perform technical evaluation of manufacturing-related information and provide management with status reports containing decision-support information. 15% B. Technical Expertise Provide technical leadership in blind manufacturing development with a focus on cost reduction and functional product creation. 15% C. Work Routing Determine the optimal process route for all products, achieving the highest quality at the lowest cost. 10% E. Process Documentation Develop written procedures in the form of practical and standardized Work Instructions to specifically describe how to perform a required task and the steps and tools needed to complete it. 10% F. Supplier Development Collaborate with current suppliers to develop and improve existing products and processes, striving to reduce costs and waste. 10% G. SBOS Develop standardized work for operations, problem-solving using PDCA methodology, and support production metrics. 15% H. Safety Develop safety and ergonomics projects to improve manufacturing operations and material handling and transportation. 10% I.
