Ensure efficient line operation through best practices. 11\. Support all pilot samples generated and implementation of new products. 12\. Make decisions based on production requirements. 13\. Schedule overtime work. 14\. Verify proper use and handling of all materials and tools by personnel under supervision. 15\. Analyze production processes and waste. 16\. Participate in all production process improvement projects. 17\. Analyze and prioritize production processes. 18\. Follow all verbal and written instructions related to job responsibilities and all matters concerning the department. 19\. Responsible for implementing the 5S program in the Assembly and Decoration area, as well as tracking actions resulting from audits. 20\. Responsible for coordinating team members (Quality, Maintenance, Processes, Molds, Production, and Planning) to collaborate effectively in achieving management-defined metrics and meeting established KPIs aligned with employee agreements and global and local requirements. **Position Description (Technical):** 1\) Must possess in-depth knowledge of all technical aspects required to efficiently operate and maintain each assembly machine (e.g., silk screen, heat transfer labeling, pad printing, final assembly, or any other equipment present in the area), including machine planning, maintenance, Quality, Processes, and Production. 2\) Capable of designing, implementing, and operating departmental procedures independently. 3\) Responsible for installing and evaluating new equipment, machinery, and materials with support from the New Projects team. 4\) Responsible for the machinery program and ensuring its appropriate development according to production needs. 5\) Capable of developing machinery procedures that improve production efficiency. 6\) Capable of developing and supervising raw material handling. 7\) Capable of maintaining a healthy raw material inventory aligned with the production schedule. 8\) Responsible for compliance with quality standards related to machinery and equipment specifications. **Education:** 1\. Minimum education in Business Administration or Engineering. 2\. Master’s degree required. **Experience / Skills:** The Assembly and Decoration Business Unit Manager must meet the following requirements: **1\.** Minimum six months’ experience in a role at least comparable to that of a Production Manager and/or general production supervision and/or Assembly or Decoration. **2\.** Must possess the practical and technical skills required for the department being managed. Requires sound judgment to comply with established methods and procedures involved in the job. **3\.** Teamwork, decision-making, working under pressure, leadership, communication across all levels, PC proficiency, software packages and systems relevant to the position, and analytical ability. **4\.** Must be able to follow oral and/or written instructions to carry out assigned tasks. **5\.** Knowledge of various organizational and administrative methods. **Skills:** Must demonstrate, through documentation, bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish (minimum English proficiency level of 70–80%) as well as department-specific competencies. **Initiative and Ingenuity:** Requires sound judgment to comply with established methods and procedures involved in the job, as well as diligence, logical thinking, and adaptability. **Physical Requirements:** Consistent physical effort involving handling of tools and materials ranging from light to average weight; job performance requires sustained alertness and activity, mental concentration, and visual attention over both short and extended periods.
