Forklift Driver

Description

Job Summary: This role involves receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory in a warehouse, safely operating forklifts, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Safely and efficiently operate forklift equipment. 2. Efficiently and safely organize and store products. 3. Collaborate with the purchasing team to resolve discrepancies. Receive incoming products and materials at the warehouse. Report any safety incidents or issues to the supervisor. Comply with all safety standards for handling products and forklift equipment. Safely and efficiently operate forklift equipment to load and unload products. Perform basic maintenance on forklifts. Report abnormalities in forklifts. Maintain detailed records of received products, including quantity, date of receipt, and supplier. Generate material receipt reports and document any irregularities or damage to products. Verify shipment conformity against purchase orders and related documentation. Label, categorize, and mark storage locations to facilitate product retrieval. Organize and store products efficiently and safely within the warehouse. Collaborate with the purchasing and supply team to resolve shipment discrepancies. Communicate replenishment needs to purchasing staff. * Organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work effectively in a team. * Basic knowledge of inventory management software. * Ability to work in a team and follow instructions. * Capacity to lift and carry heavy objects. * Knowledge of safety standards for material and equipment handling.
