**What you’ll do:** ------------------- **Job Summary** Prior knowledge of plasma cutters, saws, plate rollers, hydraulic presses, pipe cutters, flat bar cutters, overhead crane operation, measuring instruments, and blueprint interpretation. **Job Responsibilities** The position will be responsible for assisting the Production Supervisor with all training initiatives and measurements aimed at supporting substantial business growth, as well as meeting ISO/TS requirements, OpA, Lean initiatives, 5's, and STPS regulations. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** * Properly and safely use all assigned equipment, tools, consumables, and personal protective equipment. * Follow defined instructions for equipment operation, as well as established safety rules and procedures. * Ensure correct usage of materials, whether raw materials or finished products. * Verify and comply with specifications according to the work order. * Respect all materials and avoid improper use. * Escalate any discrepancies to the next level. * Fulfill required documentation by accurately completing forms: inspection drawings, dimensional inspections. * Comply with drawing requirements, complete dimensions for the first and last machined piece, and transcribe NC data to DWG or part to maintain traceability. **Qualifications:** ------------------- **Education level required** Technician **Years and area of experience required** 1 year of experience in metal handling and measurement systems, with ability to interpret blueprints, material tickets, and/or drawings (AutoCAD) **Technical knowledge** Proven experience in equipment operation and adjustment, knowledge of measuring equipment, materials, blueprint interpretation, and high precision in tolerances. **Soft skills** Teamwork and ability to work under pressure, adherence to safety procedures.
