This position ensures the supply of materials in the required quantities and at the required times to meet production schedules without any additional cost, while maintaining healthy inventory levels, as well as timely follow-up on potential material risks with suppliers and support teams to prevent line stoppage impacts. Direct communication with suppliers and internal clients to ensure that production lines are not affected by material shortages. * Maintenance of MRP (overdue orders, advances, rescheduling, orders aligned with arrivals). * Confirmation of order deliveries with suppliers up to 13 weeks in advance. * Escalation within the supplier’s organization regarding potential impacts. * Follow-up on material deliveries with support teams (Import/Export, Transportation, Receiving) to prevent line impacts. * Effective communication with suppliers (emails, calls, meetings with action minutes). * Timely updating of reports with complete information (critical items, production material follow-ups, PSI, reported materials). * Resolution of receiving discrepancies (local and U.S. suppliers within 24 hours, foreign suppliers within 48 hours). * Training suppliers on the correct use of the supplier portal. * Expedite urgent materials. * Reduction of air expediting (PFR under control). * Review safety stock every quarter (against demand and corporate suggestions). * Only add, follow established internal processes within the planning department. * Maintain 5S in personal and common work areas. * Segregate waste according to workplace categories. * Identify hazards and associated risks and follow defined operational controls. * Participate in ISO 14001 & 45001 awareness training. * Identify hazards and associated risks and follow defined operational controls. * Participate in ISO 14001 & 45001 awareness training.
