




**Position Objective** Responsible for analyzing cost expenses, material tickets, routes, and inventories within the organization. This role requires knowledge of cost accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial information and effective cost control. 1\) Cost Analysis and Reporting: Analyze and report cost variances, production costs, and inventory valuation. Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management. 2\) Budgeting and Forecasting: Support in preparing budgets and forecasts by providing information on cost trends and potential areas for savings. 3\) Inventory Management: Monitor and analyze inventory levels, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting. Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. 4\) Standard Costs: Develop and maintain standard cost models for products and processes. Update standard costs according to changes in production methods or material costs. 5\) Cost Control: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements. Work closely with production and procurement teams to optimize cost efficiency. 6\) Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements related to cost accounting. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. 7\) Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring all cost accounting records are accurate and up to date. 8\) Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and finance to ensure accurate cost data and effective cost management. **Requirements: Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:** * Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, preferably in manufacturing environments. Active participation in internal and external audits. ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle). * **Intermediate/advanced technical English.** * Budget preparation, forecasting, and cost variance analysis. Inventory reconciliation and deviation assessment. * Knowledge: Cost accounting and standards (standard cost, actual cost, variances). * Inventory control. Preparation of financial statements. Strong advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, financial formulas). * Applicable accounting and tax regulations (US GAAP, MX GAAP desirable). * Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools.
