Join an organization that ensures a safer world by connecting and protecting our customers with innovative electrical solutions. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Perform regular inspection processes for raw materials. * Develop and analyze FAI (First Article Inspection and Approval) for new or modified components, including those from new and/or existing suppliers. * Support operational areas in tracking issues related to raw materials, analyzing component status (per specifications), reviewing inventory, and releasing or segregating material after validation. * Report non-conforming material to suppliers and manage full follow-up, including SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Report) when necessary, approval of returns, and shipment of return material. * Maintain continuous contact with external suppliers. * Coordinate supplier visits. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Team-oriented mindset, willingness to provide campus-level support (relocation between plants as needed), responsible attitude, and strong service orientation. * Basic conversational and written English. * Knowledge of measurement systems: o Use of basic measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, gauge blocks/pins, etc.). o Interpretation of drawings and specifications. * Knowledge and use of Enovia. * Knowledge and use of JDE. * Knowledge and use of Microsoft tools. * Knowledge of material inspection standards/specifications (e.g., steels), preferred. * Knowledge of CMM and 3D Scanner, preferred. **WE OFFER:** * A dynamic global footprint with diverse operations worldwide—expanding your skills, providing abundant professional opportunities, and enabling daily impact + nVent is a global leader in electrical connection and protection solutions.
