




**Failure Analysis Technician II** **Responsibilities:** * Under general supervision, follows established company policies and procedures and applies acquired job skills to identify and research component failures to improve product quality and reliability. * Work with senior staff to define failure analysis strategies based on Mid\-Low level investigation trends. * Responsible for identifying and researching component failures to improve product quality and reliability. * Enter each complaint part/device and investigation results onto a failure analysis database * May provide assistance to junior staff with more general support tasks that require a better understanding of functions, as directed by immediate supervisor. * May refer to senior staff for assistance with higher level problems that may arise. * Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution, as deemed necessary. * Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor. * Using knowledge of product able to provide reliable output on mid to low level investigations as directed by supervisor. **Qualifications:** * High School Diploma required. * Associates Degree in Electrical / Mechanical or related technical field Preferred. * 0 \- 4 years' related technical experience preferred * Ability to perform component level troubleshooting with general supervision desirable. * Ability to read and understand schematics and assembly drawings is a plus. * Good understanding of mechanics. * Visa to travel to US is required. * **Bilingual (English / Spanish). (Required)** * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Knowledgeable in structured problem solving. * Working knowledge of SAP is a plus. * Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. * Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
