Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative\-medicine **We are seeking top talent for the Project Engineering position located in Puebla \- Mexico.** **Purpose:** Manage and implement various types of projects across all plant areas, coordinating with relevant departments (Procurement, Safety, Quality, Plant Engineering, etc.) to meet exact customer requirements and deliver, at project completion, a solution fully aligned with customer expectations and needs—within the allocated budget. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop, execute, and maintain applicable master plans for Qualifications (manufacturing equipment, packaging equipment, critical services / facilities). * Execute qualification of Production Systems / Facilities and Critical Services, and maintain their qualified status aligned with current regulatory requirements. Also responsible for delivery and maintenance of supporting documentation, including qualification protocols and reports. * In collaboration with Staff Engineers and suppliers, review designs, diagrams, drawings, manuals, etc., and approve manufacturing or installation of machinery, tools, fixtures, processes, etc., considering customer requirements and feedback from involved departments to ensure proper functionality within production processes. * Manage contracted suppliers executing projects, installations, services, and operational testing, ensuring compliance with specified requirements for each activity. * Understand and apply design, quality, safety, and hygiene standards through information received from suppliers, training courses, manuals, etc., to ensure compliance at every stage of project execution. * Maintain control and administration of project-generated documentation (purchase requisitions, quotations, drawings, diagrams, meeting minutes, project transfers, etc.) to fulfill SOX and BPM requirements. * Ensure all activities comply with applicable local and international, governmental, and corporate standards related to safety, environment, hygiene, and health. * Understand and apply occupational safety and health standards, as well as environmental policies, promote compliance, and report any violations or deviations to the Safety and Environment department. * Generate and track financial performance indicators for projects (budgeted expense adherence, payments, on-time project progress, etc.). * Perform C\&Q (Commissioning and Qualification) for new, upgraded, or existing assets, including all required documentation, within defined timelines and budgets. * Demonstrate strong competencies in drafting technical documents such as plans, user requirements, protocols, risk analyses, and reports required for commissioning and qualification activities. * Participate in inspections and audits, and be responsible for follow-up on investigations, deviations, corrective and preventive actions applicable to their processes toward successful and compliant closure. * Actively participate in problem-solving by identifying root causes or symptoms within a system, then applying solutions using systematic tools. * Ability to interpret and understand electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, general engineering, and construction drawings. **Qualifications / Requirements:** * English language proficiency: (CEFR1\) English Level B (Independent User), sublevel B2 (Upper Intermediate) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. * Experience: 2–4 years of required experience in equipment and process qualification/validation, Maintenance, Equipment Engineering and/or Process Engineering / in a GMP manufacturing plant environment.
