Support in Active Directory administration and virtualized environments At CIVIR Consulting, a firm dedicated to delivering Information Technology services, we are currently seeking a Junior Sysadmin to work with one of our key banking clients. **Requirements** * Minimum 2 years of experience in system administration, server support, or similar roles * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field (student intern or graduate) * Residency in Puebla * Availability to work onsite in Puebla and monthly visits to CDMX with the client **Technical Knowledge** * Windows Server (basic – intermediate level) * Installation and configuration of Windows Server * Basic Active Directory administration: * User creation, deletion, and modifications (ABC) * Permission management * System event monitoring (Event Viewer) * Application of patches and updates (WSUS) * Basic knowledge of IIS * Resource monitoring (CPU, RAM, disk) * Basic incident handling and troubleshooting * Linux (basic level) * Basic Linux system administration (RedHat, Ubuntu, Debian, or Oracle Linux) * User and permission management * Resource monitoring (CPU, memory, disk) * Execution of basic commands and initial troubleshooting * Application of security updates and patches * Virtualization (basic level) * Basic knowledge of VMware * Creation of virtual machines * Allocation of resources (CPU, RAM, storage) * Basic VM performance monitoring * Basic–intermediate English (technical reading and documentation comprehension) **Responsibilities** * Monitoring of Windows and Linux servers * Incident response and logging * Execution of operational tasks (patches, user management, permissions) * Escalation of issues to higher-level support * Support in Active Directory administration * Support in virtualized environments (VMware) * Documentation of activities and changes **Compensation and Benefits:** * Salary commensurate with experience * Statutory benefits: year-end bonus, vacation premium, and social security * Extra-statutory benefits: major medical expense insurance (individual coverage), life insurance, food vouchers (MXN 300 per month), 8 paid economic days, annual productivity bonus, training.
