Job Summary: We are seeking a Plastics Engineer with experience in material selection, design and optimization of extrusion processes, quality control, and multidisciplinary collaboration for an expanding plant. Collaboration with production, design, and logistics departments Position: Plastics Engineer Location: Colón Plant, Querétaro Salary: $30,000 – $40,000 per month (based on experience) Key Responsibilities \- Selection and analysis of plastic materials (polyethylene). \- Design and optimization of transformation processes: extrusion. \- Operation of laboratory instruments for material analysis. \- Implementation of quality control tests: impact, tensile strength, melt flow index (MFI), thermal resistance, and failure analysis. \- Collaboration with production, design, and logistics departments to ensure compliance with industrial standards. Candidate Profile \- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field. \- Experience: Minimum 3 years in plastic transformation processes within industries such as automotive, packaging, construction, medical, or electronics. \- Technical Knowledge: Mold design, material analysis, quality control, and recycling. \- Competencies: \- Analytical and problem-solving skills. \- Results-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement. \- Teamwork and effective communication.
