Description

General Accountant * Responsible for maintaining accounting records and issuing financial and tax reports. Consolidates accounts, develops and implements accounting procedures. * Respond to and provide financial and tax information required by external auditors, etc. * Calculate and file monthly and annual tax returns, such as: ISR, IETU, IDE, IVA, informative returns, etc. * Submit and analyze monthly financial statements. * Verification of the recalculation of accumulated balances at period-end closing in accounting. * Validation of the trial balance reconciliation at period-end closing. * Supervise cash counts and reconciliation of the General Cash Account. * Review and validate bank reconciliations. * Review and validate the accounting entries for chargebacks and credit notes generated by departments. * Review and prepare monthly ISAN declarations submitted to the Secretariat of Finance. * Informative declaration of vehicle identification codes. * Informative declaration of customer income payments exceeding MXN 100,000.00 in cash. * Fixed asset ledger reconciliation vs. accounting records. * Credit line reconciliation. * Reconciliations with VW New and Used Vehicle Floor Plan. * Reconciliations with Parts Floor Plan. * Review and reconciliation of departmental budgets, inventories, and costs vs. accounting records. * Bank transfer reconciliation. * Bank transfer reconciliation. * Review of the Error Account. * Audits of service orders, parts, warranties, and petty cash funds. * Recording of expense accruals for travel expenses, bonuses, year-end bonuses, uncollectible accounts, obsolete parts, prepaid expenses, bank commissions, advertising revenue accrual policies, general accrual policies, sales discounts for auto-financed units (fleet), department-specific flat-rate pricing, and Deloitte professional fees. * Supervision and training of subordinate staff. * Attend courses and training sessions convened by Volkswagen de México and/or Agua Azul Motos S.A. de C.V. * Wear of the official uniform and safety equipment. * Proper care of work tools. * Compliance with Work Policies and the Internal Work Regulations of Agua Azul Motors. * Refrain from engaging in practices detrimental to a favorable organizational environment and acts of workplace violence.
