You will collaborate with product, data, and infrastructure teams, integrating cloud-based services and adopting modern CI/CD practices. This role directly impacts KPI visibility and the organization’s strategic productivity. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop Python-based tools and services for automation, APIs, and backend systems. * Design modular, scalable, and well-documented architectures. * Integrate systems via REST/GraphQL, webhooks, and SDKs (with emphasis on GCP). * Implement CI/CD pipelines: build, testing, deployment, and monitoring. * Develop ETL/ELT scripts and perform data processing/analytics. * Design queries and data models for relational and NoSQL databases. * Strengthen application security: authentication, secret management, logging, and auditing. * Ensure test coverage (unit, integration, end-to-end). * Maintain documentation for APIs, architecture, and technical workflows. * Support AI/ML initiatives in data preparation and integration. **Mandatory Requirements:** * 3+ years of experience with Python 3.9+ in backend/data automation. * Proficiency in SQL and bash/shell scripting. * Experience with GCP, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. * Automated testing using pytest and adherence to quality best practices. * Consumption and design of REST/GraphQL APIs; usage of SDKs. * Schema design, database migrations, and query optimization. * Application security: authentication, authorization, and secret management. **Desirable/Plus Skills:** * Experience with GitHub Actions or Cloud Build. * Pre-commit hooks and linters/formatters. * Data orchestration and pipeline monitoring. * Integration of ML models into production environments. Success Metrics at 30/60/90 Days: * 30 days: Understand the data ecosystem and deploy a CI/CD improvement with all tests passing. * 60 days: Deliver a microservice/ETL on GCP with monitoring and alerts, reducing rework. * 90 days: Contribute to key dashboards/KPIs (ROIC, EBITDA, POI/POI%) enabling business decisions.
