You will also expand your expertise in filing tax returns, tax advisory services / Tax Technology and Transformation, and managing tax disputes. We are Bit Technologies, a technology company with over 18 years of experience, present throughout Mexico, offering specialized software services for enterprise, university, and government sector management. **Currently, we are seeking a Finance and Accounting Manager** The Finance and Accounting Manager will be the guardian of the company's financial health. Their mission is to professionalize the department, transitioning from operational accounting to a strategic financial function, providing accurate and timely information for decision-making, optimizing the tax burden, and ensuring compliance with all legal obligations. 2\. Key Responsibilities Accounting and Reporting: · Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards (NIF/IFRS). · Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement) and management reports for the CEO and Board. · Establish and maintain a robust internal control system. · Manage the relationship with external auditors. Tax and Compliance: · Central responsible for all tax planning and compliance: Calculation and timely filing of taxes (Income Tax, VAT, DIOT, etc.). · Optimize the company’s tax structure by identifying legally valid tax-saving opportunities. · Lead and represent the company during any tax review or audit by SAT or other authorities. · Keep updated on tax regulations and ensure their correct application. Treasury and Cash Flow: · Manage daily treasury operations, ensuring liquidity for business activities. · Supervise collections and accounts payable. · Develop and monitor cash flow forecasts. Processes and Systems: · Evaluate, implement, and optimize the use of ERP/accounting\-financial software (e.g., NetSuite, Xero, QuickBooks Enterprise) to make processes more efficient and scalable. · Digitize and automate manual processes within the department. · Manage relationships with banking institutions. Team and Leadership: · Lead and develop the financial team (accountants, assistants). · Act as a business partner to other departments (Sales, Operations, HR), advising on costs, budgets, and financial implications. \-\-\- 3\. Required Experience and Skills Essential Experience: · Degree in Public Accounting, Financial Administration, or related field. · Active professional license and preferably a master’s degree or diploma in taxation. · Minimum of 5\-7 years of experience in accounting and tax roles, with at least 2\-3 years in a supervisory or managerial position. · Proven experience managing full corporate tax responsibilities. Deep knowledge of corporate tax regimes is essential. · Experience in Mexican companies is mandatory. Additional experience in technology startups or scale\-ups is a significant advantage. Specific Technical Knowledge: · Advanced knowledge of Income Tax Law, VAT Law, and fiscal miscellany. · Experience preparing and filing declarations and obligations with SAT (including electronic accounting and CFDI). · Solid understanding of Financial Information Standards (NIF). · Advanced Excel skills and experience implementing or administering an ERP system.
