The Research and Development Engineer is part of an interdisciplinary team aimed at generating solutions, improving processes, and developing new control, administrative, and commercial tools focused on addressing the needs of the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) distribution industry; therefore, this role involves frequent interaction with field engineers as well as departments responsible for administrative system development, hardware development, manufacturing, supply chain for electronic components and devices, and software vendors. · The primary role and scope of work involve research and integration of new industrial and commercial technologies, development of custom industrial, mobile, and desktop applications, and integration of electronic devices and software for commercial use and measurement systems. Requirements: Intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, software architecture, technical document reading, API specification, and instrument and equipment manuals; development of industrial desktop and mobile (Android) applications; and documentation of design and technical solution specifications.
