Generate and manage sustainability projects. **Job Description:** **Purpose of the Role** ======================== Develop and implement the site’s SIG strategy to support the segment/region’s energy/water/waste intensity reduction goals: define and agree on objectives and WoW, generate ideas, define the SIG roadmap, drive opex and capex energy reduction initiatives, measure and report progress. **What Are We Looking For?** ========================== * **Engaging Others:** Engage the Site Management Team (SMT) to secure necessary resources, the local SIG team to execute work, and energy monitoring operations. * **Managing Ambiguity:** Interface between the local SIG team, SMT, and regional SIG team. * **Technical Skills:** Understanding of energy processes and flows; technical knowledge of energy systems and calculations. * **Functional Skills:** Project management, F\-MOS. * Advanced English * 1–3 years of experience in similar roles * Intermediate/Advanced Excel * Intermediate SAP and Power BI preferred **What Will Be Your Key Responsibilities?** ==================================================== * **Define and Manage the Site’s SIG Strategy** * Define forward and backward KPIs, measure progress, and define corrective actions * Establish a local SIG team (including engineering, maintenance, and operations) to support and agree on WoW * Align the roadmap with the SMT * Agree on additional required support * Secure sponsorship from an SMT member * **Lead the Local SIG Team** * Organize at least one local team meeting per period * Manage the local action plan and review progress * Report progress to the SMT at least once per period and escalate when necessary * **Generate Ideas to Drive the Roadmap** * Organize a local SIG/Ideation workshop * Map energy flows (sinks and sources) to assess best practices Projects * Organize internal/external audits aligned with the region, if needed. * Update the SIG Strategy Manual gap assessment to generate new relevant ideas. * Propose other improvement ideas (from self-assessment). * Align with the regional SIG leader or utilities service provider. * Incorporate all these ideas into the roadmap and track their implementation. * **Plan and Forecast: Set the Roadmap and Objectives.** * Understand and estimate with the local IE the business drivers of SIG (volume, mix, miniaturization). * Agree on opex projects and activities based on idea generation with SMT and estimate costs/savings. * Incorporate all this into the 3-year SIG roadmap. Align the objective with the Site Management Team (SMT) and regional SIG leader. * **Drive Implementation of SIG Projects.** * Manage and track delivery of all SIG projects: savings delivered, spend, timelines. * Ensure escalation when necessary. * **Drive the Opex Agenda Through Energy Monitoring.** * EMS System: Ensure data accuracy and continuous system improvement. * Scope: Define focus area and generate relevant reports/trends. * Leverage Results: Detect and correct deviations (leaks, etc.), optimize asset performance, define and track corrective actions, measure SIG project effectiveness. * Operational Enablement: Implement F\-MOS integration (at shift level) per central recommendation in utilities service providers and across all relevant areas per value streams.
