We have an opening for: PAYROLL ADVISOR JOB MISSION: Ensure accurate and timely payroll calculations, guaranteeing that employees receive their compensation punctually, without omissions, and in full compliance with applicable legal regulations. Prepare payroll-related reports and records. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Calculate, process, and manage payroll and employee benefits accurately and on time, recording all incidents and mandatory deductions (social security, taxes, etc.), as well as individual or personal deductions. Execute payroll and food voucher disbursements, generate receipts, apply electronic tax stamping (timbrado), and deliver them to employees—ensuring proper transmission and receipt—prepare accounting journal entries, and verify account balances. Perform necessary adjustments in the payroll system regarding employment schemes when employees change contracts, receive promotions, transfer positions, or modify commission structures. Calculate and manage the full settlement and termination payment process in accordance with current labor and tax regulations, ensuring employees receive accurate and timely payments upon conclusion of their employment relationship. Onboard new employees and record terminations, salary modifications, transfers, and promotions in the payroll system, while ensuring all related data is accurate and up-to-date. Update ISR, SM, UMA, UMI, or any other foundational tables required by the payroll system to correctly process calculations. Enter employee loans into the payroll system—including loan assignment and scheduling of corresponding payroll deductions—ensuring they remain current, and track and guarantee delivery upon becoming members. Process child support payments to beneficiaries designated by the Judicial Court. Perform monthly reconciliation of Digital Fiscal Receipts (CFDI) with payroll records, ensuring accuracy and consistency between both for accounting and tax purposes. EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Public Accountant, or Business Administration. KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS Knowledge and certifications: Tax calculations. LISR (Income Tax Law), IMSS (Mexican Social Security Institute), IDSE, SUA, INFONAVIT laws and regulations. FONACOT. Federal Labor Law. Specialization or diploma in IMSS, Payroll, or Taxes. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Preparation, calculation, and management of payroll for more than 500 employees. Experience using payroll systems or platforms. Employee onboarding, offboarding, and modifications in payroll and IMSS/INFONAVIT systems. Tax calculation and annual ISR calculation. Thirteenth-month bonus (Aguinaldo) calculation.
