We are currently seeking a **Food & Beverage Assistant** for our **MAJESTIC RESORTS COSTA MUJERES** property, with the mission of ensuring operational objectives for the Food & Beverage department are achieved through efficient supervision across the hotel’s restaurants and food & beverage outlets. **SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Supervise hotel restaurant and food & beverage outlet operations, ensuring compliance with established standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines. * Supervise purchase requisitions for supplies and materials required by restaurants and manage their authorization. * Review established performance indicators to identify operational improvement opportunities (e.g., customer satisfaction, inventory levels, costs, average check, floor traffic, consumption by segment, workplace climate, staff turnover). * Manage required maintenance activities (preventive and corrective) to ensure restaurant dining area (floor) equipment and tools—part of the restaurant’s fixed assets—remain in optimal condition and fully operational. * Organize periodic information meetings with team members and attend work meetings convened by the direct supervisor or senior management, as well as scheduled training and development sessions. * Participate in staff recruitment, training, retention, development, discipline, and performance evaluation processes for personnel under direct supervision. * Be present in restaurants during guest and visitor interactions to evaluate service quality and identify areas for improvement, as well as address any arising requests. * Actively participate in new initiatives such as certifications and operational improvements for the organization’s kitchens. * Prepare a monthly departmental results report and all other reports requested by the direct supervisor. * Minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience as Restaurant Manager or Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. * Advanced English proficiency; SAP experience preferred. * Academic degree in Gastronomy, Culinary Arts, Tourism, or related field.
