Collect and process relevant information from on\-site event managers regarding group setup and teardown. Serve as a liaison between the venue, event services, and on\-site exhibition/production companies. Walk through all meeting rooms before installing materials and mark all damages in the room. Walk through the room with production companies and ensure they know where the damages are located. Walk through the meeting rooms after the event and meet with production companies to discuss damages caused during their stay. Prepare a report and document all damages occurring during setup and teardown. Collaborate with Loss Prevention to complete damage reports and submit necessary documentation to event managers for billing purposes. Ensure all equipment requested by client(s) and production companies is prepared and ready prior to their arrival. Adhere to, and enforce, all venue rules for all vendors. Maintain all equipment during events and assist with general maintenance of buffet tables, bar units, wooden partitions, miscellaneous service equipment, etc. Maintain all public spaces and backstage hallway areas. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents or injuries, and complete required safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate their service needs and attend to them, and assist people with disabilities. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and listen and respond appropriately to other employees' concerns. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Reach above head and below knees, including bending, twisting waist, pulling, and stooping. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds (22\.5 kg) or less without assistance. Assist in moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing over 100 pounds (45 kg). Ascend and descend stairs, service ramps, or ladders. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested. DESIRABLE SKILLS Education: High school diploma or equivalent certification from a General Educational Development (GED) program.
