Job Summary: Responsible for efficiently operating washing and drying machines, sorting, processing, and recording laundry according to Hotel standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Efficient operation of laundry washing and drying machinery. 2. Sorting, loading, and recording processed laundry. 3. Maintaining a clean and organized work area. * **Responsibilities:** Responsible for the efficient operation of machines used for washing and drying linens, towels, tablecloths, and uniforms, in accordance with instructions from their immediate supervisor and the Hotel’s policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations. * Sorts laundry by type and degree of soiling. Weighs laundry loads and loads washing machines according to capacity, then operates them for washing and drying per established procedures. * Unloads machines and transports processed laundry. * Records uniform, linen, and towel washing production in the designated logbook. * Complies with safety regulations and instructions from their immediate supervisor regarding equipment handling, and reports any malfunctions or anomalies detected during job performance. * Reports for duty punctually and adheres to the Hotel’s policies and procedures regarding discipline, personal appearance and hygiene, schedules, designated transit areas, and safety regulations. * Attends departmental meetings and continuously participates in position-specific training programs. * Keeps their work area clean and organized, and performs any other tasks assigned by their immediate supervisor as required by their position. * Maintains inventory control of linens to be sent to external laundry services. * Performs responsibilities defined for this position. * Responsible for wearing the complete uniform and using personal protective equipment to prevent accidents within their work area (lumbar support belt, non-slip shoes). * This description is illustrative and not exhaustive.
