We are currently looking for: **JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT** YOUR MISSION WILL BE: Verify that accounting entries are made within the established timeframes set by the department, as well as monitor compliance with internal controls in place to safeguard company assets. Key responsibilities and duties: * Review trial balances to ensure that operational records generated are accurate. * Verify that billing, income, and commission reconciliations have been generated and submitted timely and correctly. * Perform bank reconciliations for assigned companies. * Reconcile CFDI against Odoo system billing. * Compare monthly bank account balances and transactions recorded internally against those reported by the financial institution to maintain proper control over available bank resources. * Perform reconciliation of issued invoices to ensure they appear in SAT reports and that income is properly recognized in accounting records. Requirements: * Completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting * Proven experience or background in general accounting * Knowledge of: Taxes, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory, Billing, Financial Information Standards (NIFs), Audit norms and procedures * Ability to prepare accounting reports and other documents requested by the Accountant * Experience using Odoo system * Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite * Must reside in Playa del Carmen or Cancun, Q.
