Reporting to the Program Director, the Psychologist is responsible for providing direct therapeutic services to recently returned Mexican children and young adults, as well as youth (ages 14–24) of any nationality with recognized refugee status, including individual, group, and family therapy. Administers assessments and coordinates services to ensure high-quality clinical services at beneficiaries’ places of residence. Global Refuge, formally known as Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services (LIRS), is a nonprofit organization serving those seeking safety, support, and participation in the American dream. Since 1939, we have welcomed those seeking refuge, upholding a legacy of compassion and grace for people in crisis. Our work also extends to Guatemala and Mexico, where we offer training and community reintegration for returned youth. To date, we have served more than 800,000 people worldwide.
