**The Universidad Politécnica de Pénjamo ANNOUNCES an open selection process to fill the position of Archival Affairs Office Head.** **Requirements** ü **Academic Qualifications** ü **Technical Superior University Degree (mandatory):** Degree certifying completion of a Technical Superior University program in Archival Science, Administration, or a related field. **Bachelor’s Degree (preferred):** Bachelor’s degree in Archival Science, Administration, or a related field. ü **Knowledge** \* Knowledge of archival science; \* General Guidelines of the Executive Branch General Archives; \* Guanajuato State Archives Law; \* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. ü ü **Experience** \- One year of experience in positions within the same or a related field. ü **Working Hours:** 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ü **Work Modality:** In-person ü **Employment Type:** Indefinite-term contract ü **Salary:** Monthly gross salary of $9,529.85, plus: $1,380.50 monthly food allowance, 40-day year-end bonus (annual benefit), and 24-day vacation premium (annual benefit). **2. Responsibilities** · Catalog and classify documentation generated by the daily operations of the institution; · Maintain up-to-date information on institutional documentation; · Verify incoming archival materials to assign their corresponding classification codes; · Prepare statistical reports and summaries; · Provide user advisory services for information consultation; · Develop procedures to maintain the physical organization of information; · Manage archival information in both physical and electronic formats; · Apply necessary technological tools to keep information updated; · Design a project enabling efficient information retrieval, in accordance with current standards and laws; · Design and maintain physical and/or electronic records of users consulting archival information; · Address and propose solutions regarding procurement of furniture and services for the archival office; · Implement current archival regulations and legislation; · Preserve, protect, and safeguard university documents; · Carry out tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor. **3.
