Involves performing administrative and coordination tasks related to operations, which may include data entry, ramp activities, sorting, tracking, dispatching, and local customer service. While operational tasks may be part of these roles, most of the time is dedicated to office activities. General Job Description: Advise and offer the range of products and services to customers in order to achieve the organization's sales goals, as well as develop frequent and credit customers. * Performs a variety of customer service, administrative, and office tasks requiring direct or indirect interaction with customers. * Assists customers with package tracking, answers questions about FedEx products and services either at the counter or over the phone. * Verifies packages ensuring proper labeling, legality of contents including weight and size, appropriate packaging, declared value, special requirements for handling hazardous materials, and compliance with required customs documentation for the destination. * Collaborates in budget compliance, income/expenses, and supports optimizing branch profitability through resource optimization. * Responsible for opening and closing the branch, maintains a clean work area, checks furniture and work materials. Respects customer service response times. * Identifies new customers or additional business opportunities and offers the most suitable services and solutions, opens new accounts, obtains additional shipments, and identifies sales opportunities. * Ensures an excellent customer experience by developing and providing appropriate solutions to different customer issues. * Follows up on commercial and administrative processes, communicating with involved departments. Responsible for safeguarding company values and preventing deviations, shortages, and improper handling within the WSC. * Requests necessary supplies for daily shipment documentation and packaging. * These are the main responsibilities performed with greater importance or frequency. Minimum Requirements: Minimum Education Level: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Language: Proficiency in English. Minimum Experience: * Two (2) years of experience in sales and/or face-to-face customer service. * Demonstrates solid knowledge in handling valuables and cash. * Previous experience at FedEx SCS Warehouse with good knowledge of operations and key customer requirements. Minimum Required Skills: * Ability to lift 34 kg and maneuver packages weighing up to 68 kg using appropriate equipment. * Accuracy and attention to detail. * Planning and organizational skills. * Interpersonal skills. * Problem-solving ability. * Ability to determine and coordinate tasks for oneself and others. * Strong interpretation skills with experience translating specific customer instructions into viable requirements. * Good technological tool skills, e.g., scanner/printer/intranet, etc., with the ability to perform basic maintenance tasks. * Strong general office skills, including typing, filing, and computer knowledge. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Clear and articulate voice. * Neat and professional appearance.
