Job Summary: We are seeking a professional to define operations, machines, and tools; design and implement process improvements; and provide ongoing technical support. Key Highlights: 1. Define operations, machines, and tools for prototype development. 2. Design and implement continuous improvement processes. 3. Provide technical support during prototype and pilot batch development. Education: * Completed or ongoing Industrial Engineering degree (maximum 1 year remaining to graduate); Technical degree in Machines and Tools. * Technical degree in CNC Programming. Eng. * Completed or ongoing Mechanical Engineering degree (maximum 1 year remaining to graduate). * **Knowledge** * *Experience operating and programming CNC machines (Min. 1 year)* * *CAD/CAM software knowledge (Min. 1 year)* * *Experience with measuring instruments (Min. 1 year)* * *Technical knowledge and/or skills* * *Knowledge of CNC programming languages.* * *Configuration and parameter adjustments on CNC machines.* * *Knowledge of controllers (Fanuc, Mazak, Haas). CAD/CAM software proficiency. Knowledge of blueprint interpretation (dimensional and geometric tolerances). Knowledge of measuring instruments. Knowledge of machining tools.* **Functions and Responsibilities** Define required operations, machines, and tools jointly with departments to establish work routes for prototype development, as well as coordinate with Quality and Development departments. Design and implement continuous improvement processes within production activities in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering. Provide ongoing technical support during prototype and pilot batch development. Design necessary fixtures to ensure proper machining processes.
