RESPONSIBILITIES: They are responsible for the company's asset security. Control access of external personnel to the CD. Assist in controlling employee access at entry points (RP'S). Upon employees' arrival, conduct body checks to ensure no prohibited materials or toxic substances that could pose risks are brought in; if found, notify the security supervisor and the employee’s manager to proceed with the corresponding security protocol. Receive and validate products. Upon delivery of goods by the supplier, physically count and reconcile them against documentation. Based on routine warehouse patrols, identify unsafe acts and conditions, as well as ensure proper custody and protection of products, reporting any incidents detected to the on-duty security supervisor. ***Position Objective:*** To design, develop, and implement innovative and functional agricultural packaging solutions that ensure product protection, cost optimization, and proper presentation, considering sustainability, quality, and customer experience. The Packaging Engineer must coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments for the development of prototypes, validations, and continuous improvements in materials, processes, and graphic designs. ***Functions and Responsibilities*** · Design and validate primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging using various materials (cardboard, plastic). · Develop technical drawings and renders using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Adobe Illustrator (AI), and other graphic tools. · Coordinate the creation and validation of agricultural packaging prototypes. · Implement quality analysis methodologies (DMAIC, FMEA, 8D, Six Sigma, ISO 9001\). · Provide technical follow-up to packaging suppliers to ensure specifications, costs, and delivery schedules. · Address customer requirements and manage customized packaging projects. · Manage resistance and validation tests (compression, vibration, impact, ECT, BCT). · Ensure compliance with national and international regulations (NOM, ISO, ASTM, ISTA). · Identify opportunities for material, cost, and sustainability optimization. · Document and standardize processes related to packaging development. · Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement projects. \_ **Candidate Profile**\_ * **Education:** Degree in Industrial Design, Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or related field. * **Experience:** 2 to 4 years in packaging design and validation, laboratory testing, and project management with customers and suppliers. * **Technical Skills:** * Graphic and product design (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Adobe Illustrator). * Printing, die-cutting, and finishing processes. * Quality methodologies (DMAIC, FMEA, 8D, Six Sigma, ISO 9001\). * National and international packaging regulations. * Intermediate to advanced technical English. * **Skills and Competencies:** * Creativity and innovation. * Problem analysis and resolution. * Negotiation and effective communication. * Organization and project management. * Teamwork and ability to work under pressure.
