Job Summary: Oversee comprehensive waste management at the plant, including segregation, collection, final disposal, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manages waste segregation and classification 2. Coordinates waste collection and final disposal 3. Ensures compliance with environmental and safety regulations * Coordinate and supervise the removal of waste generated in various plant areas. * Verify proper **waste segregation, classification, and storage** (recyclable, industrial, and special-handling waste). * Schedule and supervise **internal waste collection and transfer** to temporary storage areas. * Coordinate with **authorized suppliers** for waste collection and final disposal. * Ensure compliance with applicable **environmental, safety, and hygiene regulations** related to waste handling. * Supervise personnel responsible for waste handling and transfer within the plant. * Maintain **records, reports, and metrics** on waste volume and types generated. * Verify correct use of **personal protective equipment (PPE)** during activities. * Support environmental and safety audits. * Propose improvements to **optimize waste handling, recycling, and reduction** at the plant.
