Team development and continuous improvement in procurement A leading food service company is seeking a Procurement Manager due to growth to carry out the following activities: · Strategic Planning: Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives. Supplier Evaluation: Identify and assess potential suppliers to ensure quality and reliability of acquired products and services. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable agreements. Cost Management: Control and reduce acquisition and operational costs through cost analysis and process optimization. Supplier Selection: Select appropriate suppliers based on criteria such as quality, cost, delivery capacity, and business ethics. Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet company needs without overstocking. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with applicable legal and industry regulations and standards. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as disruptions, price fluctuations, and demand changes. Team Development: Supervise and lead a team of procurement professionals, providing training and support to achieve departmental goals. Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and effectiveness, and implement new technologies and best practices. · Requirements: Completed bachelor's degree (e.g., Business Administration, Business Management, Logistics, Commerce, etc.) 4 years of experience in a similar role. CRM proficiency (preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel). · We Offer: Monthly gross salary of $20,000 to $25,000. Statutory benefits. Life insurance policy (up to $50,000).
